The largest Agoda discount right now is not a code: it is 12% through the UOB Singapore channel, for cards issued in Singapore. If you hold that card, arrive through the channel's link and pay with it, and the discount applies by itself.

What Agoda is

Agoda codes split between web-only and app-only, and carry a region and a minimum spend alongside. You type one into the promotion field at checkout, and it does not stack with a card channel discount. Only one applies, so price the best channel and the code separately and pay the lower.

Paying less without a code

Even without a code, arriving through a card channel link can show the same room at a lower price. That is often the larger of the two, so reverse the order: read the channel price first and weigh a code against it.

  • Whether you cleared the minimum spend, region and product category conditions
  • Whether the fare is already discounted, so the code will not stack
  • Whether the total actually fell after you entered it, confirmed by reading the figure

Common questions about Agoda codes

Should I use a code or a card channel?

Whichever is larger, because they do not stack. The card channels here run 7% to 12% off and the codes run 5% to 8%, so on most bookings the channel wins. Open the channel page for the card you hold, compare it with the code, and book through the cheaper one.

The price changed when I opened the app.

That is normal on Agoda. The price is served by the route you arrive through, so the app, a plain search and an issuer channel can show three different numbers for the same room on the same night. Nothing is wrong with the booking, compare the routes before you pay.

Where do these codes come from?

Affiliate mailings, partner landing pages and community posts, each listed with its source. We do not issue them, so a code can stop working before its stated expiry once its budget is spent. Confirm the amount that actually came off at checkout.
