What this site does

The same hotel on the same dates can settle at different totals depending on how you arrived. Agoda serves a different price list by referral route, for card issuers, wallets and search, and those rates show only through that route's own link. Open the same room in the app or from plain search and the number differs.

Paste a hotel link into Tripdify and it lines those channel prices up beside other booking sites, compared on the total with tax. Around that sit the things you decide before booking: when it is cheapest to go, and where to stay so you travel less.

How results are ordered

By price. A site paying a larger commission is not moved up, and sites we have no affiliate relationship with are linked anyway when they help the comparison.

Displayed prices are what was actually read. We do not adjust or round them.

How this is paid for

Some of the outbound links are affiliate links. If a booking completes through one, the seller pays us a small commission. You pay the same as you would without it: the commission comes out of the seller's marketing budget and is not added to your booking.

That commission is the only income. The affiliate disclosure page sets this out in full.

Where the numbers come from

Card channel discount terms are read from Agoda's own published partner pages. Each card page carries the source link and the date it was read. Terms change without notice, so confirm on the final checkout total.

Temperature and rainfall are published 1991-2020 monthly normals from national meteorological agencies. They were transcribed by hand, so a check against an independent source (ERA5 reanalysis) lives in the repository and runs on every build.

Room price levels and trip budgets are estimates. They are our read of peak seasons and holidays, not live rates, and every page that shows one says so.

How the magazine is written

Magazine articles are written by one operator with AI assistance. Fares, timetables and entry rules are taken from what operators and tourism boards publish, but those numbers change often, so check them at the source before you spend money.

We have not visited the places in the articles, so you will not read "when we stayed" or "we tried" here. Some images are AI illustrations made from real places, and each article says so at the bottom. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Who makes it

One person builds and runs this. It is not a company or a travel agency, and it is not owned by any booking site.
