Delete your Tripdify account
How to delete your Tripdify app account and its data, in the app or by email, and what is kept afterwards and for how long.
Delete it in the app
Open the Tripdify app and go to the Me tab.
At the bottom of the screen, tap Delete account, read the confirmation and tap Delete account again.
To confirm it is you, the app asks you to sign in once more with the Google or Apple account you use. The account is then deleted straight away, and this cannot be undone.
To keep a copy of a trip, use Export this trip on the Me screen before you delete the account. It saves the trip's records as a CSV file.
What is deleted
Your account: your name, email address, profile photo URL and sign-in ID, your settings, and the devices and push tokens registered to it.
Your trips and everything in them on our server: expenses, itineraries, checklists, saved places, flights, reservations, currency exchanges, polls and interest scores.
Your Trip Passes, your memory videos with the photo details sent to make them, the photos stored for shared trips, and your invite codes.
Your location consent records and the confirmation records on the use of location information. If you signed in with Apple, the Sign in with Apple link is revoked as well.
Shared trips you created are deleted too, and disappear from the other members' phones at their next sync. Records you added to a trip someone else created stay in that trip.
What is kept, and for how long
Purchase records, for 5 years from the date of payment, because Korean e-commerce law requires it. Only the product, the price, the store's transaction ID, the dates of payment, first use and refund, and a one-way hash of your account ID remain. They contain no name or email address, and they are deleted when the 5 years are up.
AI usage records (the time, the kind of reading, whether it worked and the processing used, never the image or text that was read) are detached from your account so they no longer identify you, and are deleted 12 months after they were made.
Server logs expire at the end of the hosting provider's log retention period. Your purchase history also stays with Google Play or the App Store, under their own policies.
Trip Passes cannot be recovered after the account is deleted. If you want to cancel a pass you bought within the last 7 days and have not used, ask for that before you delete the account.
Ask for deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the email address linked to your Tripdify account, with the subject line "Delete my Tripdify account".
Say which sign-in you used, Google or Apple. If you chose Hide My Email with Apple, write from that relay address or tell us what it is, so we can find the account.
We may ask you to confirm the request before anything is deleted. We reply within the time the law of your country sets, and otherwise within 30 days. The same things are deleted and kept as when you delete the account in the app.
The website, ledgers and the extension
The website and the Tripdify Saver extension have no accounts. Search history and settings are kept in your browser: clear them on the History screen or in your browser's site data settings.
A trip ledger made on the website is not part of an app account. Anyone who has its address can delete it from the ledger screen, or you can email us its address and ask us to delete it.
The full details are in the Privacy Policy, which is written in English.
