What the Citibank HK channel actually requires.
The discount rate is 7% off hotel bookings.
It runs ~2027-12-31. Book outside that window and the channel reverts to the standard price.
Separately from the booking date, the stay itself must fall within ~2027-12-31.
Eligible cards: Citi credit, debit and commercial cards. A different card from the same bank may not qualify.
Excluded: Cannot be combined with other promotions, discount cards, loyalty programmes or vouchers
If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the Citibank HK channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether the card qualifies: Citi credit, debit and commercial cards. A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Cannot be combined with other promotions, discount cards, loyalty programmes or vouchers
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
