What Klook is
Klook codes are marked web-only, app-only, or tied to a card or wallet, and each caps its discount. You enter one at the last step, and a code discount usually will not stack with a payment discount. Codes restricted to one product category are common.
Paying less without a code
Without any code, the same product is sometimes cheaper on KKday. For anything expensive, open both once, and for rail passes and tickets compare against the on-the-day price too.
When the code will not apply
- Whether you are entering a web-only code in the app, or an app-only code on the web
- Whether you cleared the minimum spend, region and product category conditions
- Whether the fare is already discounted, so the code will not stack
- Whether it is a new-customer code and the account has booked before
- Whether the total actually fell after you entered it, confirmed by reading the figure
Common questions about Klook codes
Do Klook credits work alongside a code?
Credits are deducted after the code rather than instead of it, so the two normally sit on one booking. What cannot sit together is two codes. If the box refuses your code while credits are applied, remove the credits, enter the code, and let the credits recalculate.
Is Klook cheaper than buying at the gate?
For Japan rail passes and theme park tickets, usually yes, and the queue you skip is often worth more than the difference. For small local attractions it is often the same price, and what you are buying is a phone ticket rather than a discount.
Can I cancel a Klook booking?
That depends on the product, not on the code. Dated tickets and transfers are commonly non-refundable inside 24 to 72 hours, open-dated tickets usually refund until their validity date. A code spent on a cancelled booking is normally not returned to the account.
