The page states a year-round 7% for DBS and POSB cards. On top of it, October 2026 carries 20% capped at S$50 (bookings 1 to 31 October 2026, stays 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027), first come first served from 1 October 1:00am SGT; once the 20% quota is used up the 7% applies again. This entry records the 7% so it does not vanish with the October offer. The page does not say whether a prepaid rate is required or which currency the payment must settle in.

If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the DBS / POSB channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether the card qualifies: DBS and POSB cards. A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Cannot be combined with other promotions, discount cards, loyalty programmes, vouchers or fixed-price items
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
Against the other Singapore channels
Of the 6 card channels running in Singapore today, 3 publish a higher rate than this one. The highest is 12 per cent, on UOB Singapore
The channels do not stack with each other, and neither do they stack with a promo code. Only one discount is counted, so the one to use is whichever sits highest of the cards actually in your wallet.
Other DBS channels
An issuer often runs more than one channel and the rates differ. Open both and pay through the cheaper one.

Paste a hotel link and compare; the DBS / POSB channel price is ranked with the others. If it wins, open it and pay with that card.
Even with the right card, the discount can be skipped by promotion dates, minimum spend or prepaid rules, so check the final amount at checkout.
