The conditions in plain words
What the OCBC channel actually requires.
The discount rate is Extra 10% off worldwide accommodation.
A single booking can save at most USD 20.
Eligible cards: OCBC credit and debit cards. A different card from the same bank may not qualify.
Excluded: Limited redemptions; cannot be combined with other promotions, discount cards, loyalty programmes or vouchers
If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the OCBC channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether the card qualifies: OCBC credit and debit cards. A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Limited redemptions; cannot be combined with other promotions, discount cards, loyalty programmes or vouchers
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
Against the other Singapore channels
Of the 6 card channels running in Singapore today, one publishes a higher rate than this one. The highest is 12 per cent, on UOB Singapore
The channels do not stack with each other, and neither do they stack with a promo code. Only one discount is counted, so the one to use is whichever sits highest of the cards actually in your wallet.
How to use it
Paste a hotel link and compare; the OCBC channel price is ranked with the others. If it wins, open it and pay with that card.
Even with the right card, the discount can be skipped by promotion dates, minimum spend or prepaid rules, so check the final amount at checkout.
OCBC: common questions
Where do I see the OCBC channel price?
Paste an Agoda hotel link into Tripdify and the OCBC channel price lines up beside the others. It does not appear in the Agoda app or in plain search, because a different price list is served by the route you arrive through.
How much is the OCBC discount?
On Agoda's published terms it is Extra 10% off worldwide accommodation. The window is not stated, and terms change without notice, so confirm on the final checkout total.
Tripdify is not affiliated with card issuers or Agoda and does not guarantee terms. The Agoda checkout page at payment time is what counts.
