What the Samsung Card channel actually requires.
The discount rate is 7% worldwide / 10% in Thailand, the United States and Malaysia.
It runs 2026-10-01~2026-10-31. Book outside that window and the channel reverts to the standard price.
Separately from the booking date, the stay itself must fall within 2026-10-01~2027-06-30.
It applies to prepaid bookings only. Choosing pay-at-property or pay-later drops the discount.
Eligible cards: Samsung personal credit cards (family cards included). A different card from the same bank may not qualify.
Excluded: Excludes corporate, debit, prepaid, reloadable and gift cards; excludes wallets such as Samsung Pay, Kakao Pay, PayPal and PAYCO; excludes multi-room-type and package bookings
If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the Samsung Card channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether you chose a prepaid rate. Picking pay at the property drops you out of the promotion.
- Whether the card qualifies: Samsung personal credit cards (family cards included). A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Excludes corporate, debit, prepaid, reloadable and gift cards; excludes wallets such as Samsung Pay, Kakao Pay, PayPal and PAYCO; excludes multi-room-type and package bookings
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
Against the other Korea channels
Of the 19 card channels running in Korea today, 4 publish a higher rate than this one. The highest is 16 per cent, on Mastercard Korea
The channels do not stack with each other, and neither do they stack with a promo code. Only one discount is counted, so the one to use is whichever sits highest of the cards actually in your wallet.
Other Samsung channels
An issuer often runs more than one channel and the rates differ. Open both and pay through the cheaper one.
How to use it
Paste a hotel link and compare; the Samsung Card channel price is ranked with the others. If it wins, open it and pay with that card.
Even with the right card, the discount can be skipped by promotion dates, minimum spend or prepaid rules, so check the final amount at checkout.
