Shinhan Card on Agoda
The Agoda channel price that applies when you pay with Shinhan Card. Terms are copied from Agoda’s partner page and can change.
The same promotion also runs on Shinhan Card (current). Agoda publishes one set of terms for both links, so the conditions below are identical; we treat Shinhan Card (current) as the main page for it.

The conditions in plain words
What the Shinhan Card channel actually requires.
The discount rate is 7% worldwide / 10% in Thailand, the United States and Malaysia.
It runs 2026-10-01~2026-12-31. Book outside that window and the channel reverts to the standard price.
Separately from the booking date, the stay itself must fall within 2026-10-01~2027-06-30.
It applies to prepaid bookings only. Choosing pay-at-property or pay-later drops the discount.
It applies only when you pay in USD or local currency (approved as an overseas charge; paying in KRW adds a double conversion fee). Set the comparison currency to USD or local currency (approved as an overseas charge; paying in KRW adds a double conversion fee) to see what you would actually be charged.
Eligible cards: Shinhan credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay and JCB). A different card from the same bank may not qualify.
Excluded: Excludes corporate, BC, prepaid and gift cards
If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the Shinhan Card channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether you chose a prepaid rate. Picking pay at the property drops you out of the promotion.
- Whether the payment settles in USD or local currency (approved as an overseas charge; paying in KRW adds a double conversion fee). Letting it authorise in your home currency adds a double conversion fee and can void the discount.
- Whether the card qualifies: Shinhan credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay and JCB). A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Excludes corporate, BC, prepaid and gift cards
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
Against the other Korea channels
Of the 19 card channels running in Korea today, 4 publish a higher rate than this one. The highest is 16 per cent, on Mastercard Korea
11 other channels carry the same rate over the same window, word for word. That is one Agoda campaign seen from different cards rather than separate offers, so holding any of them gets the same number: KB Kookmin Card, Hyundai Card ②, BC Card, NH Nonghyup Card, PAYCO, Toss Bank, Travel Wallet, Paybooc (BC Card), Kakao Bank, Hana Card (current), Lotte Card
The channels do not stack with each other, and neither do they stack with a promo code. Only one discount is counted, so the one to use is whichever sits highest of the cards actually in your wallet.
Other Shinhan channels
An issuer often runs more than one channel and the rates differ. Open both and pay through the cheaper one.
How to use it
Paste a hotel link and compare; the Shinhan Card channel price is ranked with the others. If it wins, open it and pay with that card.
Even with the right card, the discount can be skipped by promotion dates, minimum spend or prepaid rules, so check the final amount at checkout.
Shinhan Card: common questions
Where do I see the Shinhan Card channel price?
Paste an Agoda hotel link into Tripdify and the Shinhan Card channel price lines up beside the others. It does not appear in the Agoda app or in plain search, because a different price list is served by the route you arrive through.
How much is the Shinhan Card discount?
On Agoda's published terms it is 7% worldwide / 10% in Thailand, the United States and Malaysia. The window is 2026-10-01~2026-12-31, and terms change without notice, so confirm on the final checkout total.
Tripdify is not affiliated with card issuers or Agoda and does not guarantee terms. The Agoda checkout page at payment time is what counts.
