The conditions in plain words
What the AEON Card channel actually requires.
The discount rate is 8% overseas / 6% in Japan.
A single booking can save at most JPY 5,000 per booking.
It runs 2025-03-03~2026-02-28. Book outside that window and the channel reverts to the standard price.
Separately from the booking date, the stay itself must fall within 2025-03-03~2026-03-31.
It applies to prepaid bookings only. Choosing pay-at-property or pay-later drops the discount.
Eligible cards: AEON cards issued by AEON Financial Service. A different card from the same bank may not qualify.
Excluded: Excludes Agoda app bookings and Apple Pay; excludes pay-at-property plans
This promotion has ended as far as we can tell. The channel link still opens, but the discount most likely will not apply. Check whether another channel is cheaper in the comparison.
If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the AEON Card channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether you chose a prepaid rate. Picking pay at the property drops you out of the promotion.
- Whether the card qualifies: AEON cards issued by AEON Financial Service. A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Excludes Agoda app bookings and Apple Pay; excludes pay-at-property plans
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
Against the other Japan channels
Of the 4 card channels running in Japan today, one publishes a higher rate than this one. The highest is 14 per cent, on JCB Japan
The channels do not stack with each other, and neither do they stack with a promo code. Only one discount is counted, so the one to use is whichever sits highest of the cards actually in your wallet.
Other AEON channels
An issuer often runs more than one channel and the rates differ. Open both and pay through the cheaper one.
How to use it
Paste a hotel link and compare; the AEON Card channel price is ranked with the others. If it wins, open it and pay with that card.
Even with the right card, the discount can be skipped by promotion dates, minimum spend or prepaid rules, so check the final amount at checkout.

Where do I see the AEON Card channel price?
Paste an Agoda hotel link into Tripdify and the AEON Card channel price lines up beside the others. It does not appear in the Agoda app or in plain search, because a different price list is served by the route you arrive through.
