What the E.SUN Mastercard channel actually requires.
The discount rate is 8% off with the E.SUN Unicard, 6% off with other E.SUN cards.
A single booking can save at most none.
It runs ~2026-12-31. Book outside that window and the channel reverts to the standard price.
Separately from the booking date, the stay itself must fall within ~2027-02-28.
It applies to prepaid bookings only. Choosing pay-at-property or pay-later drops the discount.
Eligible cards: E.SUN Bank credit cards; the rate depends on the card type. A different card from the same bank may not qualify.

If the discount did not apply
- Whether you arrived through the E.SUN Mastercard channel link. Agoda serves a different price list by the route you come through, so the same room opened in the app or from plain search never shows this rate.
- Whether you chose a prepaid rate. Picking pay at the property drops you out of the promotion.
- Whether the card qualifies: E.SUN Bank credit cards; the rate depends on the card type. A card from the same issuer that is not on this list will not trigger it.
- Whether you hit an exclusion: Bookings made by going to agoda.com or the Agoda app directly are excluded, as are routes other than the dedicated page link
- Whether you booked a single room. Several rooms of different types, or a package booking, usually loses the discount.
Against the other Taiwan channels
Of the 3 card channels running in Taiwan today, one publishes a higher rate than this one. The highest is 12 per cent, on LINE Pay Taiwan
The channels do not stack with each other, and neither do they stack with a promo code. Only one discount is counted, so the one to use is whichever sits highest of the cards actually in your wallet.
Other E.SUN channels
An issuer often runs more than one channel and the rates differ. Open both and pay through the cheaper one.
How to use it
Paste a hotel link and compare; the E.SUN Mastercard channel price is ranked with the others. If it wins, open it and pay with that card.
Even with the right card, the discount can be skipped by promotion dates, minimum spend or prepaid rules, so check the final amount at checkout.
