Card and wallet instant discounts
Card instant discounts depend on the country that issued the card, and their terms are published only in that country's language. Korean cards are on the Korean page, Japanese cards on the Japanese page.
Which one to use first
A promo code and a card-channel discount almost never apply together. Agoda counts one promotion per booking, so entering a code usually removes the card discount, or the other way round.
So the order is: run the channel comparison first, note the cheapest card-channel total, then try your code on a plain channel and compare the final amounts. Book whichever is lower.
Most codes are web-only or app-only. A code whose conditions say web-only simply will not apply in the app. Read the minimum spend and the cap too: a 14% code capped at $100 is worth 7% on a $1,400 booking.
Common questions
I entered a code and nothing came off.
Three usual causes. You entered a web-only code in the app. The property has no "coupon eligible" badge, most Agoda codes only apply to properties that carry one. Or the booking is under the minimum spend. If none of those fit, the code has most likely run out of budget.
Can I use a card discount and a code together?
As a rule, no. Agoda's terms say promotions cannot be combined, and in practice only one is counted. The exception is a discount your card issuer applies after the fact on your statement, which is separate from Agoda's side, check your issuer's own notice for that.
Where do these codes come from?
They are collected from affiliate media and community posts, and each one is listed with its source. We do not issue them, so they can end without notice, and a code can stop working before its expiry date once its budget is spent. Always confirm the amount actually taken off at checkout.
The channel is often cheaper than the code
Opens the same room on the same dates through each channel and compares the final total. Gaps above 10% are common with no code at all.
